Summary:
On May 28, 2012 shortly after 5:00pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cummings was dispatched to 1443 N. Alvord Ln. in Otis, Oregon on a report of a domestic disturbance. An investigation revealed Christopher Wright and Samantha Jackson were involved in an argument at their residence when they each broke out the windows to each other's vehicles. During the investigation Deputy Cummings located a juvenile at the residence who had been reported as a runaway from Tigard, Oregon. The runaway juvenile resisted Deputy Cummings attempt to take him into protective custody. A short foot pursuit led both Deputy Cummings and the juvenile into a creek and the juvenile managed to elude Deputy Cummings.
Both Christopher Wright, age 20, from Otis, Oregon and Samatha Jackson, age 18, from Otis, Oregon were taken into custody on charges of Criminal Mischief I and Custodial Interference II. They were both lodged at the Lincoln County Jail. Their bail was set at $100,000 each.
Attempts to locate the runaway juvenile are ongoing.
The Oregon State Police assisted with the investigation.
