In the late evening of March 22, 2012, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Larson initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle heading southbound on Highway 101 approaching Waldport for failing to dim headlights for oncoming traffic. Deputy Larson contacted the driver, 49 year-old Littleton, Colorado resident Patricia L. Arndt, and observed signs of impairment. After an investigation, Arndt was taken into custody and transported to the Lincoln County Jail. Arndt's vehicle was impounded.
Arndt was lodged on charges of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Her bail was set at $15,000.
