On March 18, 2012 at about 10:19 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy was dispatched to a possible DUII driver operating a white 1996 Chrysler minivan in the Waldport area. Deputy Hawley observed the vehicle heading south bound on Highway 101 and initiated a traffic stop off of E 6th Street in Yachats. Deputy Hawley contacted the driver of the vehicle identified as, Lori K. Gardner, 49 years of age, from Boise, Idaho.
A DUII investigation was conducted and Gardner was placed into custody for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Gardner was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she consented to a breath test which revealed a .17% blood alcohol concentration. Gardner was booked and lodged at the jail where she was held on a $15,000 bail.
