On November 01, 2011, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a report of a deceased male found in his residence. Upon investigation deputies found 47 year old Hector Rick Aguero deceased inside his residence. The cause of death is under investigation and is suspicious in nature. The Lincoln County Sheriff's Office activated the Lincoln County Major Crime team to assist in the investigation. Lincoln County Major Crime Team is comprised of detectives from the Lincoln County Sheriffs Office, Oregon State Police, Lincoln City Police, Newport Police, Toledo Police, and the Lincoln County District Attorney's Office.
