On June 6, 2011, a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office investigated a complaint of illegal dumping in the area of Mp 2 on South Bay Rd in Toledo. The dump site was cleaned and a deputy located suspect information which led him to suspect, Forrest Christian Burton, 22 years old, of Newport. Burton was issued a criminal citation for Offensive Littering.
