On May 22, 2011 at about 4:00 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby observed the driver of a vehicle exhibiting signs of impairment. He contacted the driver, Katherine A Seilinski, age 46 of Newport, as she was parking her vehicle in the 600 block of SW Hurbert St. in Newport. A DUII investigation was conducted and Sielinski failed the field sobriety tests. Sielinski admitted to having marijuana and methamphetamine and turned it over to Deputy Sorby.
Sielinski was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she was lodged for DUII and Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Sielinski’s bail was set at $65,000.00.
