Summary:
On January 9th, 2011 at 2:29 PM, Deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of an assault in the 6800 block of Rhododendron Ave in Gleneden Beach.
During the course of the investigation, deputies learned that merchandise missing from Country Cousins was being sold at Brandy’s Bargains in the Aquarium Village in South Beach. Deputies also learned that Brandy’s Bargains was owned and operated by Vicki Fortenberry, 48, of Toledo, a former manager of Country Cousins.
While on scene, the deputies learned that Michael Kiefer, age 49 of Gleneden Beach, had struck female neighbor in the face with his elbow during an argument about her children playing near Kiefer's property.
Deputies arrested Kiefer for ASSAULT IV and lodged him at the Lincoln county Jail with a bail of $15,000.
