Summary:
In July of 2010, a theft report was filed with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office, alleging approximately $10,000 missing from the victim's bank account since the first of the year. An investigation by a deputy led him to a suspect, Kathleen Marie Multanen, age 34 of Otis, OR, a close family member of the victim. Multanen's whereabouts were unknown at the time, but she was located and arrested on November 24, 2010 for the crimes of Theft I, Forgery I, and Identity Theft. Multanen was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she was lodged on $150,000 bail.
