On November 19, 2010 Joshua Eugene Brown, age 26 of Lincoln City, was arrested by Lincoln County Sheriff's deputies and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on multiple charges with the assistance of the Lincoln City Police Department. Brown was charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card, Strangulation, Assault IV domestic, Harassment, and Domestic Menacing resulting in a total bail amount of $90,000.00. The arrest came as a result of a three week long investigation of a domestic violence case. The investigation revealed that Brown was involved in a physical fight with his live-in girlfriend leaving bruising on her neck and other areas on her person. Brown later used his girlfriend's credit card without her permission.
