On September 24, 2010, a deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a possible underage drinking party on S Schooner Creek Rd in Otis, OR. The deputy and an Oregon State Police trooper responded and located the party, along with a large amount of alcohol. It appeared the party was just getting started as was evidenced by alcohol containers yet unopened. The officers' issued citations to four juveniles and one minor, for the violation of Minor in Possession of Alcohol, by Consumption. The minor was also cited for Possession of Less than One Ounce of Marijuana. Five other underage people, who were not consuming alcohol, were counseled and allowed to leave. All four juveniles were released to their parents with a pending date to appear in Juvenile Court. An investigation into who furnished the alcohol is continuing.
