On August 19, 2010 at about 9:00 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby conducted a traffic stop on a blue GMC Jimmy on Highway 20 near MP 29 in Burntwoods.
Deputy Sorby stopped the vehicle for traveling 76 MPH in a 55 MPH zone. Deputy Sorby learned the driver, Michael E Pfenning, 43, of Milwaukie had a suspended license and no insurance on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted and over a quarter ounce of marijuana and some Hashish was located.
Pfenning was taken into custody for Possession of Hashish and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on $100,000.00 bail. Pfenning also received citations for speeding, driving while suspended and no insurance.
