On August 2, 2010 Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Hughes and Oregon State Troopers Fitch and Shimer responded to a reported disturbance between a male and female at an Otis residence. The two subject, Trisha Maschka, 35 years old and Steven Epperson, 33 years old, were stopped by Trooper Fitch while driving away from the area. As a result of the investigation, Deputy Hughes arrested Maschka for violating a court no contact order. Epperson was arrested for assaulting Maschka and charged with Assault 4 domestic. Both subjects were also arrested for Disorderly Conduct for conducting a loud disturbance in the street. Both were lodged at the Lincoln County Jail and held on $25,000 bail.
