Summary:

At about 2:33 am, on 08-03-10, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies GULBRANSON and COX responded to the area of Kent Street and Coast Road in Depoe Bay on a reported domestic disturbance. A distraught female had reported via cell phone that she had been assaulted, but didn't know her exact location. She reported that she had seen a sign for Kent Street, but disconnected the call before more information could be obtained. The deputies performed an extensive search of the area, but were unable to locate anyone. At about 4:22 am, on 08-03-10, The Lincoln City Police Department received information that the female complainant from Depoe Bay had called a friend and said she was now at the Motel 6 in Lincoln City. Lincoln City Police Officers responded to the motel and located her and her boyfriend, Bradley JENNINGS, 49 years old of Glendale, AZ, at the location. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy HUGHES met the Lincoln City Officers at the motel and conducted an investigation into the original assault report. Deputy HUGHES subsequently arrested JENNINGS on a charge of Assault IV domestic, and lodged him at the Lincoln County Jail on $15,000 bail.
