On 07-23-2010 Lincoln County Sheriffs Deputies and Oregon State Police responded to a report of disorderly conduct occurring at the Depoe Bay City Hall. A male subject later identified as Brian William Mumey, 46 of Aumsville was trespassed from the location. At about 4:55 PM LINCOM dispatch received 911 reports of Mumey threatening to cut a boat loose from a dock in the Harbor. Deputies learned from the initial contact with Mumey that he had a firearm in his vehicle. Officers on scene learned of statements Mumey had made concerning officer and public safety. Mumey advised the dispatch center on 911 that he observed officers in the area and left the location. Deputies located him as he pulled off the roadway on Bay Street and NW Conway in Depoe Bay. Mumey was detained without further incident. Following investigation Mumey was taken into custody for Disorderly Conduct II. He was trespassed from the City Docks in addition to the City Hall. Mumey was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was booked and lodged on $10,000.00 bail.
