At about 12:40 pm on April 1, 2010, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Barry Bruster responded to the Waldport High School on NE Crestline on a reported student that was causing a disturbance and had damaged school property. Deputy Bruster conducted an investigation that subsequently lead to the arrest of a 17 year old Waldport High School Student for Disorderly Conduct, Criminal Mischief, and Reckless Endangerment. The student was cited and released. While one student was endangered in the incident due to glass shard spray from a broken window no students were injured.
