On March 28, 2010 the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched on a report of a stolen vehicle out of Yachats, Oregon. During the investigation Sr. Deputy Cummings learned that Isaac Jack, age 21, from Waldport, Oregon used a piece of wood to threaten to cause serious physical harm to the owner of a white 1992 Toyota Camry and his friend if they did not turn over the keys to their vehicle. Mr. Jack then stole the vehicle.
Lincoln County Sheriff's Office later located Mr. Jack at his residence in Waldport, Oregon along with the stolen vehicle. Mr. Jack was arrested and lodged at the jail on the charges of Robbery in the Second Degree, Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and two counts of Menacing. Mr. Jack's bail was set at $180,000. Mr. Jack also received a citation for Unlawful Possession of Less than an Ounce of Marijuana.
The vehicle was recovered and returned to it's rightful owner.
