Summary:
On Sunday January 10, 2010 at approximately 9:30 a.m., Inmate Jeremy Gruver walked away from the Lincoln County Animal Shelter while on a work detail. Mr. Gruver is currently serving a sentence in the Lincoln County Jail for Theft II and Burglary II with a scheduled release date of February 26, 2011.
Mr. Gruver was last seen wearing an orange JAIL uniform with black work boots. Mr. Gruver is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He has brown hair and green eyes and is in his early 20’s. He has a tattoo of a cross on his hand, tattoo on his right forearm “LIVN”, tattoo on his right forearm “5150” and a tattoo on his left forearm “51.50”.
The Animal Shelter Inmate Work Crew is a program that was implemented by the Sheriff’s Office approximately two years ago. This is the first and only incident of this type that has ever occurred. We will be evaluating this situation, but it will not prevent the program from continuing.
