On January 9, 2010 at about 9:00PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby contacted James Patrick Short, 48, of Toledo, in the Timbers Bar in Toledo. Deputy Sorby recognized Short and knew he had a Felony No Bail Warrant for his arrest. Short was taken into custody and a search of him was conducted.
During the search, Deputy Sorby located a small baggie of Methamphetamine in a cigarette pack found in Short's pocket. Deputy Sorby transported Short to the Lincoln County Jail with out incident. Short was charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Short’s bail was set at $50,000. He was also lodged on the warrant.
