On December 22, 2009, at approximately 2244 hrs, dispatch received a 911 call concerning an intoxicated male attempting to break out a window on a motor vehicle in Waldport, OR. A Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Deputy was dispatched to the scene, but prior to arriving, the male suspect fled on foot after breaking the vehicle window. After taking witness statements the deputy was able to locate the suspect hiding inside a nearby residence. Joseph Allen Volk, 20, of Waldport, OR, was arrested for the crime of Criminal Mischief II and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on $15,000.00 bail.
