Summary:
On November 7, 2009 at 11:00pm, Deputy Cliff Sites of the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a White 1997 Chrylser sedan on Hwy 34 near the Waldport Fire Department, Oregon for an improper turn. During contact with the driver, Jeffrey Milton Carr, 41, of Waldport, Deputy Sites detected signs of impairment and he appeared to under the influence of an intoxicant.
Deputy Sites located a small bag containing a white powdery substance, suspected of being Methamphetamine, on Carr during a pat down search..
Carr was arrested for UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF METHAMPHETAMINE and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail. His bail was set at $50,000. Carr's vehicle was released at the scene.
