On 10-23-09 at about 0820 hours, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputies Jeff HUGHES and Abby DORSEY responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on SW Field Ave, in Waldport. The investigation revealed that Jeffrey Alan HAINES, age 29 of Waldport, had assaulted his live-in girlfriend during a heated argument in their home. HAINES was arrested for Assault IV and Harassment. HAINES was transported to the Lincoln County Jail and lodged on $25,000 bail.
