On September 25th 2009 at 8:49 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cliff Sites conducted a traffic stop on a Silver Subaru Legacy at the intersection of Hwy 34 and NW Alder in Waldport for a lighting violation. During contact with the driver, Tracy Owen Wayman, 46, of Waldport, Deputy Sites noted signs of impairment. An investigation revealed Wayman was driving under the influence of intoxicants. Wayman was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail, where he provided a breath sample of 0.11 % BAC.
