Summary:

On August 28, 2009 at about 9:42am, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Hughes, assisted by an Oregon State Trooper responded to a residence in the 300 Block of N Charmwood Loop, Otis, Oregon on a reported disturbance between 39 year old Timothy Crenshaw of Neotsu, and his Mother-in-law. An investigation revealed that Crenshaw and his mother-in-law argued over a custodial issue involving Crenshaw's 12 year old son who was staying with her temporarily. The argument escalated into a brief physical altercation between the two. As a result of the altercation, Crenshaw was subsequently arrested and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail on one charge of Domestic Menacing. His bail was set at $50,000.

At about 9:00pm on August 29th, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cliff Sites located Kowitz at a residence in the 5800 block of NE Mason Avenue in Yachats. Kowitz was arrested on one count of being a FUGITIVE and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail with a bail of $150,000.
