On August 12, 2009, at about 3:20pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Jeff Hughes responded to assist Lincoln County Parole and Probation at a residence in the 5000 Block of South River Loop, Kernville, Oregon. 34 year old Robert BRUNELLE, was found and detained at the location on an Oregon State Parole board warrant by Lincoln County Parole and Probation officers. When he was detained, BRUNELLE was the named suspect in a stolen vehicle incident reported to the Lincoln City Police department a few days earlier. The two parole officers located the stolen vehicle parked in a secluded spot behind the residence where BRUNELLE had been staying. The keys for the vehicle were found with BRUNELLE'S property. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Jeff HUGHES responded to the scene and arrested BRUNELLE for the warrant and subsequently for Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle, Theft II and Criminal Mischief I . Robert BRUNELLE was transported to the Lincoln County Jail and lodged on $215,000 bail. The vehicle was released to the owner.
