On August 17, 2009 at approximately 2:45pm, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Colin Teem observed a vehicle stopped in the road way on NE 36th Drive near the intersection of West Devil’s Lake Road in Lincoln City, OR. Deputy Teem activated his emergency lights to conduct a traffic stop. The vehicle started driving east then turned into a residential driveway near the 2800 block of NE 36th Drive.
Deputy Teem contacted the driver, 46 year old Charles V. Moon of Lincoln City, OR. Deputy Teem observed signs of impairment and conducted a DUII investigation. Moon was subsequently placed into custody for DUII.
At the Lincoln County Jail Moon consented to a breath test. Moon’s Blood Alcohol Concentration was measured at .19%. Moon was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. His bail was set at $15,000.00.
