Summary:
On July 31, 2009, the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office received information from an anonymous informant that a domestic disturbance occurred the day before at a residence in the 1000 Block of N. Glenview Loop, Otis, Oregon. The informant reported that a female was possibly injured by her former boyfriend, 26 year old David M. Sears, of Otis. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy David Boys responded to the N. Glenview Loop address and contacted the alleged victim. An investigation revealed that on July 29, 2009 at about midnight, Sears physically injured the female while in the presence of minor children and interfered when she attempted to call for police assistance.
On July, 31, 2009, at 9:00 PM, Deputy Boys contacted Sears at a residence in Otis and placed him under arrest for Assault IV Domestic (felony), Harassment, and Interferring with making a report. He was transported to the Lincoln County Jail and lodged with a bail of $75,000.
