Lincoln County Sheriff's Office is investigating fraud involving stolen and forged checks written between June 10, 20009 and June 15, 2009 in Toledo and Newport. Checks on the closed account of One Stop Travel of Newport were stolen, the account holders signature forged. Checks are written pay to the order of Heather Ann Dooley, AKA Heather Jordan, age 26 of Toledo. Dooley uses a Washington drivers license for identification. Anyone receiving checks on the account are asked to contact Detective Trish Miller.
