On June 12, 2009 at about 11:50 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby responded to 20 SE Davenport Ave in Depoe Bay for a report of a disturbance. When Deputy Sorby arrived on scene he learned that Austin R Hungerford, 29, of Depoe Bay had sprayed water through a roommate’s window and thrown fruit through his door. While Deputy Sorby was conducting his investigation he discovered evidence of a marijuana grow in Hungerford’s room. Deputy Sorby obtained and executed a search warrant for Hungerford’s room and discovered evidence of a marijuana grow. Hungerford was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on Criminal Mischief III and Unlawful Manufacture of Marijuana. Hungerford’s bail was set at $110,000.00.
