At about 7:48 pm, 20 May 2009, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a report that a subject was at the Holiday Market in Yachats with two other subjects that were holding him at gunpoint. On arrival, the subject admitted that the other two men were not in possession of a gun and had not threatened him with one. Ryan Ray Dorman Jr, 25 years of age, Yachats, was arrested for Initiating a False Report. Dorman was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he was lodged on $7,500.00 bail.
