On May 7, 2009 at about 3:05 am, dispatch received a 911 call from a man who said he'd been assaulted with a beer bottle. Medical personnel contacted the subject at about mp 4 on Hwy 18 in Otis, then transported him to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital with a head injury. A deputy with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office contacted the injured subject at the hospital, photographed his injuries and took his statements. The investigation led the deputy to a residence along Hwy 18 where contact was made with a female associated with the injured male. Michelle Rae Dillon, 40, of Otis, OR was subsequently placed under arrest for Assault IV, Domestic and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she was lodged on $15,000.00 bail.
