On May 3rd, 2009 at about 11:45 PM, a Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy was dispatched to an assault that occurred on S Drift Creek Rd. An investigation revealed 48 year-old Gregory Duane Wescott of Lincoln City, had assaulted another subject earlier in the evening. With the help of the Lincoln City Police Department, Wescott was taken into custody and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Assault in the Second Degree. His bail was set at $100,000.
