Summary:
On May 1, 2009 at approximately 12:24 am, deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a crash with injuries at about mp 9 on N Bayview Rd, Waldport, OR. The crash involved a minor who received a serious head injury while operating an ATV without a helmet at time of the crash.
After the injured minor was transported to the hospital the deputies initiated an investigation of alcohol use by other subjects associated with a campsite next to the crash scene. Ace Edward Eliasen, 21, of Newport, OR, was issued a Misdemeanor citation for Furnishing Liquor to a Minor, 2 counts, bail $30,000. Cheyenne Charlene Unger, 19, of Waldport, OR, was issued a citation for Minor in Possession of Liquor with a mandatory court appearance. The investitgation is continuing.
