On May 3, 2009 at about 7:03 PM, Deputy David Hawley with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office responded to a domestic disturbance call at an apartment complex off of East Collins Street. An investigation revealed that Rafael Oyola, 51, of Depoe Bay caused physical injury to his girlfriend. Deputy Hawley placed Oyola under arrest for charges including; Assault IV, Strangulation, Menacing and Harassment. Oyola was transported to the Lincoln County Jail and held on a $55,000 bail.
