On 04/03/09 at about 12:07 p.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Abby Dorsey investigated a theft that had just occurred at a second hand store in South Beach, Oregon. The victim reported the suspect, later identified as Joe A. Henry, 50, of Newport had come to the business to pick up an item he had purchased a few days prior. It was reported when Henry arrived at the business he was upset that the item wasn't what he wanted. The victim reported when she tried to return Henry's money he grabbed the money, and the item and ran from the store. The victim sustained an injury to her hand during the incident. Henry ran from the business then got into his vehicle and left the scene. Oregon State Police assisted with locating Henry in a nearby parking lot, where he was taken into custody without incident. Henry was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Robbery III, and Theft III with a total bail of $55,000.
