On April 4th, 2009 at 11:06 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cliff Sites observed a tan Toyota pick up parked at the Waldport Weigh Station with a man sitting in the driver's seat. Deputy Sites contacted the driver of the vehicle, Harold Dale Cleeton, 59, of Bandon, to see if he needed assistance.
During contact with Cleeton, Deputy Sites noted signs of impairment. An investigation revealed Cleeton had been Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. He was arrested for DUII and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample of 0.10 % BAC %. Cleeton's bail was set at $15,000.
