On March 30th 2009 at 10:30 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Cliff Sites initiated a traffic stop on a tan Ford truck on Hwy 34 near Riverview Ln after the vehicle failed to maintain a lane and made an unsignaled left turn.
During contact with the driver, Tracy G. Sanders, 43 of Waldport, Deputy Sites noted signs of impairment. An investigation revealed Sanders was Driving Under the Influence of Intxicants. Sanders was arrested for DUII and RECKLESS DRIVING and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he provided a breath sample of 0.13 % %. Sanders' bail was set at $30,000.
