Late on the night of March 24, 2009, the Toledo Police Department received an anonymous tip of a large underage drinking party on Yaquina Bay Rd. Due to the location of the reported party, deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the call with two officers from Toledo Police Department responding to assist.
During the early morning hours of March 25, 2009, officers located the party and made contact with a large number of underage persons consuming alcohol. Citations were served to 5 underage males and 6 underage females, all between 17 and 19 years of age. All 11 subjects were cited for MIP (Minor in Possession of Alcohol by Consumption) and either released at the scene or released to their parents if under the age of 18.
