On March 20, 2009 at about 6:11 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Eric Sorby responded to a possible car theft occurring at a residence in the 1000 Block of James Frank Road, Siletz, Oregon. When Deputy Sorby arrived on scene he located three male juveniles near the suspected stolen vehicle. Upon further investigation Deputy Sorby determined one of the juveniles, a 17 year old male, had taken the vehicle without permission. He was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle. Deputy Sorby transported the juvenile to the Lincoln County Juvenile Detention Center where he was lodged.
