Summary:
On March 7, 2009 at about 09:00 a.m. Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy Abby Dorsey responded to a report of a traffic crash on NW Cedar Ave, Yachats. The victim reported her vehicle was struck causing damage, and the suspect vehicle was stuck at the scene on her property. Deputy Dorsey arrived at the scene, and after contacting witnesses determined the crash occurred at approximately 01:38 a.m. At about 2:20 hours Deputy Dorsey contacted the registered owner of the vehicle, Gwendolyn A. Gisher, 46, of Yachats who admitted she was the driver of the vehicle and that she had left the scene without contacting law enforcement, or the owner of the vehicle she had struck. Gisher was issued a citation for Fail to Perform Duties of a Driver (Property Damage).
