Summary:
On 2-28-2009 Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Forest Deputy Gary Davey investigated damages to a number of county road signs along Burntwoods/Harlan Road and Harlan Road. During the course of the investigation, Deputy Davey contacted and issued Bruce Demaris, 23 years old of Burntwoods, a crimial citation for Criminal Mischief I, Reckless Driving and Failure to Perform Duties of Driver (Hit-Run property damage). Lincoln County Public Works reported the cost to repair the damaged signs, which stretched more than five miles will cost our Lincoln County taxpayers $2081.76.
