Summary:
On February 25, 2009 Sr. Deputy Cummings contacted Edwin Lee Heston, age 68 from Waldport, Oregon on a traffic stop for a minor traffic violation. During the traffic stop Sr. Deputy Cummings observed several signs of impairment and conducted a DUII Investigation. Upon completing the investigation Mr. Heston was arrested for Driving While Under the Influene and Reckless Driving. Mr. Heston was transported to the Lincoln County jail where he refused to provide a breath sample. Mr. Heston was lodged at the jail and his bail was set at $30,000. Mr. Heston also received a citation for refusing to provide a breath sample. His black 1996 Nissan 200 SX/SE was impounded.
