Summary:
At about 1:00 am, 24 February 2009, a Patrol Sergeant with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, stopped a Ford Ranger pickup for failure to obey a traffic control device (stop sign). The Sergeant contacted the driver, identified as Darrel Elmer James, 45 years old of Toledo, and observed obvious signs of intoxication. James was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where he submitted to a breath test. James’ blood alcohol level was .17%. James was cited for DUII and lodged pending procedural release.
