Summary:
On February 21st at about 7:42pm, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Chris Miller responded to the area of Hwy 101 and SW Bayley to assist a Newport Police Department Officer who had stopped a suspected impaired driver. Deputy Miller conducted an investigation, resulting in the arrest of the driver, Nicole Renee Moldovan, 31, of Lincoln City, Oregon for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Moldovan was arrested and transported to the Lincoln County Jail where her blood alcohol concentration was determined to be .10% by a breath test. She was lodged on the charge of Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants, and held on $15,000 bail.
