Summary:
On February 20, 2009, while utilizing Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office DUII Traffic Enforcement Grant funds during the Newport Seafood and Wine Festival, Lincoln County Sheriff's Office Sr. Deputy Cummings observed a passenger vehicle traveling south on U.S. Hwy 101 near SW 40th St. in South Beach with no functioning rear tail lights. Sr. Deputy Cummings contacted the driver, identified as Maura M. Warren, age 45 from South Beach, and observed several signs of impairment. A DUII investigation was conducted and Ms. Warren was subsequently arrested for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving. Ms. Warren was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail and her bail was set at $30,000.00
