Summary:
Summary: On February 13, 2009 at approximately 1:00PM Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence on Wakefield Rd., in Eddyville for a subject who shot at two other subjects. Deputies and Oregon State Police troopers arrived in the area and contacted, Woodrow A. Crook age 66 of Eddyville, OR. An investigation revealed during an argument with family members, Crook retrieved a .22 caliber rifle and shot from his home towards the family members who were standing on the roadway in front of the home. Crook shot one time and the bullet did not strike anyone. Deputy Colin Teem placed Crook into custody for two counts of Menacing and two counts of Unlawful use of a Weapon. Crook was transported and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail with a bail set at $130,000.00. No one was injured.
