Summary:
On January 27, 2009 the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a possible DUII driver near the area of mile post 169 on U.S. Hwy 101 just south of Yachats, Oregon. Sr. Deputy Dorsey located the vehicle, a red 2002 Chevy Avalanche pickup and contacted the driver, identified as Sonja Marie Burreson, age 44 from Ryan, Iowa. Sr. Deputy Dorsey observed signs of impairment. Sr. Deputy Cummings conducted a DUII Investigation and arrested Ms. Burreson for Driving While Under the Influence of Intoxicants. Ms. Burreson was transported to the Lincoln County Jail where she was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of Methamphetamine. Ms. Burreson was lodged at the jail and her bail was set at $65,000. Ms. Burreson's vehicle was Impounded.
