Summary:
On 1-17-09, at about 11:59 PM, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Eric Sorby arrested Cole C Foos, 24, of Newport near 44 SW Brooke St. When Deputy Sorby tired to take Foos into custody for a Probation Violation he ran. After a short chase Deputy Sorby caught up to Foos and a struggle ensued. Deputy Sorby was eventually able to take Foos into custody after a short altercation. Foos was lodged, with no bail, at the Lincoln County Jail on Resisting Arrest, Escape III, Interfering with Police, and Probation Violation charges.
