Summary:
On January 6, 2009 at 8:00am, a Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatched to Paradise Gifts in Depoe Bay, Oregon on a reported burglary. The glass front door of the business had been shattered and numerous rings, totaling over $1,400.00, were stolen. A subsequent investigation led sheriff's deputies to a Depoe Bay home where 19 year old Ricky E. Herrera of Lincoln City was arrested. Over $1,200.00 worth of the stolen property was recovered. Herrera was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail where he was charged with Burglary in the 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief in the 1st degree, and Theft in the 1st degree. His bail was set at $150,000.
