Summary:
On 12-14-08, at about 9:13 PM, Lincoln County Sheriffs Deputy Eric Sorby arrested Rodney J Baker, 52, of Depoe Bay. Deputy Sorby contacted Baker on a traffic stop near the intersection of Gleneden Beach Loop and Laurel St in Gleneden Beach. When Deputy Sorby contacted Baker he learned he was criminally suspended. Deputy Sorby suspected Baker to be under the influence of a controlled substance and asked Baker if he would take field sobriety tests. Baker performed the tests and failed. Baker was lodged at the Lincoln County Jail for Driving While Suspended Misdemeanor and Driving Under the Influence of Controlled Substances. Baker’s bail was set at 30,000.00.
