Summary:
On December 4, 2008 at about 3:22 pm, Lincoln County Sheriff's Deputy David Hawley contacted two subjects walking on Highway 101 near Oceanview Street in Lincoln Beach. An investigation revealed that Gabriel S. Pilgrim, 36, of Depoe Bay, provided Deputy Hawley with a false name to avoid being arrested on an outstanding warrant. Deputy Hawley conducted a consent search on Pilgrim and located several bags containing Methamphetamine and suspected Psilocybin Mushrooms.
Deputy Hawley arrested Pilgrim on charges of False Information to a Police Officer, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Fail to Register as a Sex Offender and an outstanding State-Wide Felony Warrant. Pilgrim was booked and lodged at the Lincoln County Jail where he was held without bail.
